I’ve noticed that since everyone in my street has been forced into isolation that in order to be heard each morning they are sounding more and more like town criers, and it’s something that I’d like to announce myself.
In response to the alarming proliferation of this direful virus, I’m hoping to start a modest platform here for new poems. I, for one, am struggling to find outlets for my work and that was even before all this pandemonium. I’m sure we’re all stuck at home and still writing but with fewer prospects for outlets than before. I’m hoping that once a week I can share a poem or poems that I really think deserve to have a wider audience. For this I’m going to need your help. Please send a maximum of three poems to me via my contact page on this website. Please no attachments, all poems to be pasted in the body of the message. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Cheers, Richie
